This is an onsite course, organized in collaboration with local institutions. The goal of the Intermediate course is to provide participants with the scientific knowledge, skills and competences required by specialists working in organ donation. The training is addressed to healthcare professionals, mainly physicians (anesthesiologists and responsible for critical care units as well as emergency rooms), who are involved in any step of the donation-transplant process.
Moreover, effective learning is guaranteed by the active participation of students and teaching staff. during theoretical and practical sessions, that consists of simulations on each of the sequences that may occur in the organ recovery process.
The course lasts three days (24 academic hours) and it is proposed for maximum 36 participants. TPM will issue an official certificate of attendance for course participants.
