On April 27, 2022, Pau-ls Stradins Clinical University Hospital in cooperation with University of Latvia is organizing an international conference dedicated to the organ donation and transplantation “Open doors: Challenges and achievements in organ donation and transplantation.”

The conference will be held in conference hall of the University of Latvia, Jelgavas street 3, Riga. It will be also available on-line in YouTube channel. Link will be sent after registration.

In the conference speakers discuss the current situation, clinical cases with patients’ experiences and opportunities and challenges for transplantology. Among speakers there will be representatives and clinicians from Pauls Stradins Clinical University Hospital, Donation and Transplantation Institute in Spain and Karolinska University Hospital in Sweden.

The conference will be held in the framework of EC Erasmus+ funded project “Teodor  – Transeuropean Educational initiative in Organ Donation and Transplantation” aiming at designing and piloting a new and innovative training programme on organ donation and transplantation for physicians & relevant healthcare personnel from Latvia, Czech Republic, and Lithuania with the support of Spain and Sweden experts.
