Forty professionals take part in the first Intermadiate Training Course celebrated in Abu Dhabi.

Our delegation had the chance to visit the kidney transplant program at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC), a SEHA institution and CCAD from Mubadala Healthcare, encountering an excellent setting to develop tissue and multi organ transplantation programs in addition to expanding the existing kidney transplantation at SKMC. We were also welcomed to the Spanish Embassy in Abu Dhabi. The ambassador, Mr. Jose Eugenio Salarich, showed great interests in endorsing future activities in the field of organ donation and transplantation development in the UAE.

We wish to extend our particular thanks to Dr. Ali Abdul kareem Al Obaidli, SEHA Chief Academic Affairs Officer, Dr. Tomislav Mihaljevic, Chief of Staff, CCAD and Dr Mona Alrukhaimi, Professor of Medicine at Dubai Medical College (UAE) for making it possible.
