On May 18-22, 2017, we organized the Learn to Teach Face to Face course of the Seeding Life (SeeLife) project in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The first two days were devoted to simulations, workshops, lectures and interactive clinical cases on organ donation and transplantation, followed by two days on teaching and learning strategies in medical education, with the final aim of facilitating the acquisition of core and horizontal competences required by the healthcare professionals in the field.

The training program ended with the preparation of 15 national seminars on organ donation and transplantation, to be implemented in the following months in five target areas from Bulgaria and Latvia.

A total of 27 participants from Bulgaria and Latvia were certified as trainers.

The training program was scored between 4,7 and 5 on a scale from 1-poor to 5- excellent.

The media, represented by national television and radio, followed the implementation of the training program and supported its dissemination.

We would like to congratulate everyone for their commitment and valuable input. We want to take this opportunity to also thank the local organizers for their hospitality and efficient logistics.
