The 28th edition of the Advanced International TPM course in Spanish took place from 13 to 16 February 2018.
The main objective of this course is the transfer of scientific and technical knowledge to develop the professional skills needed for obtaining organs and tissues for transplantation.
The opening day was held on day 13 in the “Parc Científic de Barcelona” (PCB) with representatives of the national transplant organisation (ONT), the Catalan Transplant Organisation (Organització Catalana de Trasplantaments-OCATT), Hospital Clínic de Barcelona and the PCB.
The course brought together thirty-seven participants representing 9 countries, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Dominican Republic and Spain. Among them, there were 7 students of the Alianza Master of the ONT.
As usual, after the first classes the course moved to Sant Hilari Sacalm within the environment of the Natural Park of Montseny. For four days participants have been able to learn and discuss with teachers both in theoretical classes such as practices.
This time, the course was accredited by the European Union of Medical Specialists – European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (UEMS-EACCME) with 27 ECMEC® s
